St. Michael's parish has an endowment fund with the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia.
A very generous bequest was recently made to the Archdiocese of Atlanta. From that gift, Archbishop Gregory decided to allocate $10,000 to each parish.
Endowments are special because gifts to the fund are never spent, but rather are invested so that the fund can grow over time and produce distributions that will help the parish into the future.
Our parish endowment fund is held and managed at the Catholic Foundation of North Georgia. Gifts to an endowment fund are never spent but are invested to produce distributions to the parish forever.
Wills bequests and other gifts of assets are perfect for leaving to the endowment because they help parishioners created a lasting Catholic legacy that continue long after we are gone. Gifts may also be made to the parish endowment fund in memory of those who have passed away.
On The Catholic Foundation's website, you can download "A Christian Guide to Wills and Trusts", a workbook that will take you throuigh the will planning process. You can also plan your Will right on their website. It is free, private and allows you to print a document to take to your attorney to formalize.
